Meet the Owner \u2013 Jenene Bothma<\/h2>My journey into the beauty industry wasn\u2019t a straight path \u2014 but it was definitely the right one. After finishing matric, I was privileged to start my career at WesBank, where I worked my way up into a rewarding position with wonderful perks. Yet, despite the success, I always felt a deep longing to follow my true passion \u2014 hair and beauty.<\/p>\n

One day, I made the brave decision to follow my heart. I resigned, used my pension to pay off my debts, and enrolled in college \u2014 all while raising my two little girls. It wasn\u2019t easy, but it was worth every challenge. As my knowledge grew, I began doing hair for clients in their homes to support my studies and build a loyal clientele. I also volunteered at a salon on weekends to gain experience and hours required by my college.<\/p>\n

Before long, my clients encouraged me to start my own salon. With faith and determination, I turned two rented rooms into my very first salon space. As the business grew, I was able to employ an operator and later a junior stylist. Eventually, we expanded to use the entire house \u2014 creating a beautiful space that included a hair salon, beauty room, and gift shop.<\/p>\n

After about ten successful years, my family and I felt a calling to make a change. Through prayer and God\u2019s guidance, doors opened in Jeffreys Bay, and it became clear that this was where we were meant to be. I began working as a stylist at Beautique Salon, and a few months later, God opened another door \u2014 the opportunity to buy the salon.<\/p>\n

Today, I\u2019ve been the proud owner of Beautique Hair & Beauty for over seven years, and I can truly say I enjoy every moment. I\u2019m so thankful for my incredible team, who share my vision for excellence, care, and creativity. Most of all, I give all glory to God, who continues to bless me with strength, wisdom, energy, and health to lead and serve both my clients and my staff.<\/p>\n
