The salon is proudly led by Jenene Bothma, whose journey into the hair and beauty industry began with a deep calling to follow her heart. Although she started her career in a completely different field and built a successful position for herself, she always knew that her true passion was in hair and beauty.

Choosing to leave the security of that career was not an easy decision, but it was the beginning of something truly meaningful. While raising her two daughters, Jenene took a brave step of faith, enrolled in college, and committed herself fully to learning the craft she loved. During that time, she built her experience by doing hair for clients in their homes, growing a loyal client base, and volunteering at a salon on weekends to gain practical training and complete the hours required for her studies.

As her skills, confidence, and client base grew, so did the dream. Encouraged by the support of her clients, Jenene opened her very first salon in two rented rooms. Over time, that small beginning blossomed into a thriving space that grew to fill an entire house, complete with a hair salon, beauty room, and gift shop.

After around ten successful years, a new chapter began. Through prayer and God’s guidance, doors opened in Jeffreys Bay, and it became clear that this was where the next season would unfold. Jenene began working as a stylist at Beautique, and only a few months later, the opportunity arose to purchase the salon. It was another step of faith — and one that has shaped the heart of Beautique Hair & Beauty today.

For more than seven years, Jenene has proudly led Beautique Hair & Beauty with passion, gratitude, and a commitment to excellence. Together with her incredible team, she has created a salon environment where clients are treated with care, warmth, and genuine personal attention.
